Claims Analyst II, Commercial Property

We are seeking a skilled Claims Analyst II to join our Commercial Property team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing new and existing claims, including Marine and Energy claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate coverage and reserves, perform detailed claim investigations, and document files accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, underwriting, and business partners.
  • Handle claims in accordance with established corporate best practices and claim handling guidelines.
  • Make decisions and work independently within assigned authority.
  • Assign and confer with legal counsel on claims requiring litigation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience adjusting Property claims.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage workload.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • AMF Adjuster's License (5A) if based in Quebec.
  • Fluency in English/French is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel as needed (5%).
