Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Mr Clean Power Wash Services Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities and ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that they meet our high standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Site Environment: Ability to work at heights, in wet/damp conditions, and in environments with odours.
- Work Setting: Office building and cleaning service company.
- Tasks: Hire and train staff, supervise and coordinate activities, inspect sites and facilities, recommend additional services, assist cleaners, and establish work schedules.
- Supervision: 3-4 people or 5-10 people.
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract).
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, reliability.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
