About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator, Metal Craftsman to join our team at Gregory Signs & Engraving Ltd. as a key member of our metal fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay Out and Assemble Metal Components: Use precision to lay out reference points and patterns, and assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.
  • Operate Heavy-Duty Machines: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, including brakes and presses, cutting torches, and shears.
  • Construct Patterns and Templates: Create patterns and templates for metal fabrication projects.
  • Welding Techniques: Employ MIG and TIG welding techniques to join metal components.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Utilize computer numerical control (CNC) machines and other equipment to fabricate metal components.
  • Area of Specialization: Focus on structural metal or steel, including bridges and other large-scale metal structures.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
