About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Innovative Metal Works. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld or bolt sections together to form complex metal structures
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using a variety of welding techniques
  • Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Install fabricated components in final products, adhering to quality standards
Welding Techniques
  • ARC spot welding for precise connections
  • TIG welding for high-precision applications
  • MIG welding for efficient production
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Operate grinders for surface finishing
  • Use drills for precise hole creation
  • Employ cutting torches for efficient material removal
Area of Specialization
  • Structural metal or steel fabrication
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring stamina and endurance

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines

Work Details: Permanent position, 44 hours per week, English language required.
