Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Welder to join our team at Innovative Metal Works. This role involves working with various materials to create and assemble metal structures.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in welding or metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
  • Weld or bolt metal sections together to form durable structures.
  • Lay out reference points and patterns for accurate assembly.
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to create complex structures.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials within the worksite.
  • Install fabricated components into the final product.
Welding Techniques
  • Proficient in ARC spot welding.
  • Experienced in TIG and MIG welding processes.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Skilled in using grinders, drills, and cutting torches.
Specialization

Focus on structural metal or steel fabrication.

Work Environment
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring strength and stamina.
Tools and Equipment
  • Must possess steel-toed safety boots and a welding helmet.
Personal Attributes
  • Highly organized and reliable.
  • A strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
