Casino Server Job Description

At Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Casino Server to join our team at Celtic Junction Restaurant in Sydney. As a Casino Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a safe and welcoming work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets guests by name and provides exceptional service throughout their dining experience
  • Escorts guests to their table, presents menus, and informs them of daily specials
  • Explains menu items and makes recommendations to guests
  • Takes orders, serves food and beverages, and checks for guest satisfaction
  • Resolves guest issues and seeks assistance from management when needed
  • Cleans tables, removes dishes, and re-stocks as required
  • Performs opening and closing duties, including counting cash float
  • Covers other servers' sections as needed
  • Exercises good judgment regarding responsible beverage service
  • Liaises with operational departments to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year serving experience with excellent communication skills
  • POS experience and responsible beverage training
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service
Work Environment:

The Casino Server will work in a regular casino, restaurant, or bar environment, standing and walking for long periods. The role requires some exposure to noise, odors, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
