ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will report to the Program Manager of Systems Solution and Data Management. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Community and Health Services Department through the automation of various business functions.
  • Assessing and enhancing the technological capabilities of systems to meet business needs.
  • Collaborating with Information Technology Services and other departments to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Implementing new projects and processes in partnership with IT staff.
  • Analyzing and integrating systems for improved client and asset management.
  • Providing innovative technology solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Conducting GIS analysis and developing applications to support departmental needs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Leading the design and implementation of tailored business intelligence solutions to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements.
  • Maintaining project life-cycle workflows and validating them with stakeholders.
  • Developing analytical models to extract insights from operational and spatial data.
  • Addressing recurring issues related to system functionality and integration.
  • Monitoring and analyzing business processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Researching best practices to recommend process improvements.
  • Organizing and documenting data management processes to meet quality standards.
  • Providing systems expertise and support to internal staff.
  • Performing additional duties as required to meet departmental objectives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A diploma in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Statistics, GIS, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in project implementation and data management.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of data systems and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Big Data, Data Science, and Analytics technologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and various data management tools.
