Broadcast Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Solutions Engineer to join our team at Evertz Microsystems Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge broadcast equipment and solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Functional and Design Verification: Conduct thorough testing of hardware and software for our RF Product Line to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Test Equipment Operation: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of prototype electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Test Result Recording and Reporting: Accurately record and report test results, providing detailed documentation and recommendations for improvement.
- Procedure Development: Create documented procedures and processes related to testing products for use in production, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Customer Support: Assist customers and the Evertz sales team with RF solutions selection and system design, maintaining a strong and professional relationship with all customers.
- Proposal Development: Assist with RF-related RFP and RFI proposals by providing cost-effective and innovative solutions, accompanied by system drawings.
- Travel and Collaboration: Travel to customer sites regionally and overseas to conduct demos and customer meetings, as required.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer/Networking Engineering.
- Experience: Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is an asset.
- Skills: Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, ability to read technical drawings and schematics, strong manual dexterity, and experience working with test measuring tools.
- Personal Qualities: Passion for learning new technology software and hardware, excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational, planning, time management, and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and ability to demonstrate leadership skills and initiative.
