At Scotiabank, we're committed to helping our customers achieve their financial goals. As a Senior Contract Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting our Regulatory Initiatives & Reporting team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Initiatives & Reporting and the 1A side of the PIC business.
  • Execute effective management of tier one compliance and regulatory oversight, working closely with the Senior Manager and/or assigned Project Team.
  • Monitor adherence to regulatory and internal Bank requirements, ensuring compliance, risk management, and regulatory rules are followed.
  • Support the audit function in the preparation stage and issue resolution of findings.
  • Provide support to the Senior Manager to communicate and implement changes in policies and practices that impact our clients and/or Relationship Managers.
Requirements:
  • CSC & CIM designations
  • Thorough investment management know-how and a depth of experience in compliance and regulatory rules
  • Solid understanding of Canadian Wealth Management objectives, strategies, and structures
  • Strong compliance knowledge and experience in Private Wealth and Investment Management
  • Extensive knowledge of all applicable regulatory rules, guidelines, policies, and requirements
