Partner Staffing is currently collaborating with a client in search of a seasoned Transportation Project Manager Engineer to enhance their project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing transportation infrastructure initiatives and a solid history of overseeing intricate projects from their initial stages through to completion. This position demands exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills to guarantee the successful execution of projects within defined parameters of scope, budget, and timeline.



Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Formulate and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, and financial frameworks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Track project advancement, recognize potential challenges, and deploy strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Guide and support a diverse project team.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Establish quality assurance measures to uphold superior project delivery standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of project status.
  • Administer project finances, monitor spending, and ensure efficient resource distribution.
  • Compile and present financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify avenues for cost reduction and enhancements in efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
