Executive Director of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Join the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as we seek an exceptional leader to fill the role of Executive Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
About the RoleThe Executive Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role will lead the nursing and allied professions, ensuring the development and adherence to professional ethics and standards of nursing and allied practice throughout the geographic area.
The successful candidate will be dedicated to the integration of acute and community programs and services, as well as continually improving the level of patient/client care provided. They will assume responsibility for the effective and economic administration of the Renal Health, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Rehab/Geriatrics Programs, and other assigned departments or services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational support to the COO
- Lead the nursing and allied professions
- Ensure the development and adherence to professional ethics and standards of nursing and allied practice
- Integrate acute and community programs and services
- Continually improve the level of patient/client care provided
- Administer the Renal Health, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Rehab/Geriatrics Programs, and other assigned departments or services
- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience within nursing and healthcare administration
- Experience in community health or social services preferred
- Extensive experience in service delivery and business operations
- Ability to lead and participate in both short- and long-term planning
- Experience in human resource management, financial management, and quality improvement required
- Experience with facilities management is desirable
- Experience in program planning, development, and evaluation required
