Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess 4-7 years of proven experience in project oversight, design, and contract management specifically for municipal water and sewage systems, encompassing both facility components (pumping stations and treatment facilities) and linear transmission elements (sewers and water mains).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives related to municipal water and wastewater pumping stations and associated linear infrastructure.
- Engage with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Supervise the development of engineering documentation, including reports, calculations, specifications, and operational manuals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate efforts with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff.
- Plan and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks effectively.
- Ensure high-quality standards and timely delivery of project outcomes to meet client expectations.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering proposals.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that aligns with Accoravillage's core values.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships, actively participating in relevant industry associations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal water and sewage infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Established relationships with municipal and private clients, along with experience in engineering consultancy, are advantageous.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
