About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at SW Kang Medicine Professional Corporation. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our medical team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
    • Interview patients to obtain case histories and update patient files
    • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient use of our medical team's time
    • Complete insurance and other claim forms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Maintain a secure and organized filing system, both physical and digital
    • Order supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring we have the necessary resources to operate effectively
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Determine and establish office procedures and routines, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members
    • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review
    • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols
    • Perform data entry, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
    • Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses, and other staff, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration
    • Arrange for billing for services, ensuring timely and accurate payment
    • Store, update, and maintain databases, ensuring accurate and reliable information
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook
  • Personal Suitability
    • Able to work accurately and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders
    • Organized and reliable, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
