Painter and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painter and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Simple Wealth. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including painting, surface preparation, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities- Painting and Surface Preparation
- Apply paint and coatings to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and equipment
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching
- Maintenance and Repair
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment checks and repairs
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns
- Equipment Operation
- Operate various equipment, including scaffolding, swing stages, and painting equipment
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Health and Safety
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures
- Report any incidents or near-misses to management
- Education
- High school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 7 months to under 1 year of experience in a related field
- Certifications and Training
- Working at heights certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- WHMIS certification
- Equipment Experience
- Experience with brush, spray, and roller painting equipment
- Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
