Construction Painter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Insite Construction Management. As a Construction Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, patterned rollers, and roller painting equipment.
- Specialized Finishing: Apply specialized finishes, including novelty and decorative effects, fire retardants, multi-color finishes, and urethanes.
- Wall Covering: Apply wallpaper and other wall coverings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. Lift and move heavy equipment and materials, and work at heights.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and reliability, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of painting and finishing techniques.
