Job Summary

Alteo Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide first-level technical assistance and support to employees, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Incident Management: Receive, prioritize, and process user requests or assign work to relevant team members, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems encountered by users, collaborating with other IT team members as needed.
  • Asset Management: Track and document the organization's IT assets, including computers, peripheral equipment, and software licenses, managing stocks and inventories of IT equipment.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of problems solved, solutions implemented, and troubleshooting procedures, following company security policies and raising user awareness of good IT security practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the planning for future system requirements and in finding innovative solutions to improve IT services and support.
Requirements
  • Education: AEC/DEC in IT or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT user support and network administration.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, M365, and Scripting PowerShell, as well as knowledge of M365 office tools and different desktop deployment methods.
  • Personal Qualities: Good communications and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, adapt, and multi-task, and ability to work autonomously within a team setting.
