Banquet Supervisor Job Description

Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited is seeking a skilled Banquet Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our banquet services.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and train a team of staff to prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and presentation.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for banquet services.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on banquet services.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player.
