Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work schedules for kitchen staff
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols
  • Assess and calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel
  • Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and present detailed reports
  • Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary specialties
  • Supervise the assembly of meal trays
  • Oversee the delivery of food service carts
