We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team at Sussex Insurance Company. As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting System Administration: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Financial Planning: Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements for management and stakeholders.
- Accounting System Improvement: Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
- Financial Product Sales: Arrange for the sale of financial products and investments.
- Cost Analysis: Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
