About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Sussex Insurance Company. As an Accounting Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting System Administration: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
  • Cash Management: Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
