Senior Director, Energy and Infrastructure

Fitch Ratings is seeking a seasoned credit analyst with 10+ years of experience in project finance related to the energy sector. The successful candidate will lead the analysis and rating of infrastructure and project finance transactions, focusing on emerging energy technologies, such as wind, liquified natural gas (LNG), solar, and transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain expertise in project finance and infrastructure credit analysis.
  • Lead the analysis and rating of infrastructure and project finance transactions, with a focus on emerging energy technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
  • Conduct site visits and issuer meetings to gather information and build relationships.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of the Infrastructure team.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in project finance related to the energy sector.
  • Proven track record of leading complex credit analysis and rating projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
