Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Kitimat, BC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve IT service delivery.
  • Provide training and support to employees on various IT systems, including Service Now, Concur, and The Hub.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate technical problems, both hardware and software-related.
  • Manage account requests and configuration to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
  • Assist with installation and troubleshooting of standard end-user computing equipment.
  • Support corporate software including Microsoft365, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
  • Facilitate issues with Smart Cards and provide support for collaboration tools.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to enact infrastructure changes and manage remote VPN software.
  • Maintain working order of conference rooms and collaboration spaces.
Requirements:
  • Client-facing role with excellent communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting experience with Windows 10, Microsoft 365 Suite, Network Connectivity, and SaaS.
  • Remote Support Experience through tools like Windows Remote Assistance.
  • IT Asset Management and experience with capital projects.
  • Stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  • Networking and IT Security skills.
