- Competitive salary range for the Continuous Improvement Manager position between $95,747 to $143,620 CAD annually
In our Vaughan facility, you can unlock your full potential sustainably by leveraging your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group as the Continuous Improvement Manager, making a significant impact.
- Oversee and enhance the plant's continuous improvement framework, ensuring alignment with Lean Production System methodologies
- Utilize facility data to prioritize projects, define requirements, allocate resources, assign team members, and establish project ownership
- Provide ongoing mentorship, support, and coaching to Line Centric Team (LCT) members and facility personnel, promoting operational efficiency and continuous enhancement
- Collaborate closely with site leadership to identify improvement opportunities and support product innovation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
- Lead cost-saving initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, while training team members at all levels in practices such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Set-up Reduction, Standard Work, Visual Management, and more
Maximize Your Potential

- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the continuous improvement sector within a manufacturing context
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams, focusing on the growth and development of team members in operations, maintenance, and quality
- Strong analytical capabilities, adept at navigating complex challenges to identify effective solutions
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration and buy-in across teams
- Proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks, with a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships, fostering a collaborative workplace environment
