Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Project Manager to join our team at Mircom Group of Companies. As a Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing marketing programs, campaigns, and activities from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan, project manage, and launch product releases for new products, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Marketing Content Development: Plan, project manage, and deliver marketing content that strengthens our brand and fosters business growth, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Event Management: Plan, project manage, and launch live events and trade shows, showcasing our products and services to key stakeholders.
  • Digital Marketing Programs: Project manage and oversee the execution of digital marketing programs and campaigns, including setup, delivery, data, reporting, and analytics.
  • Marketing Request Intake: Intake, triage, and prioritize marketing requests from Sales, Executive, Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management, and HR teams.
  • Project Budgeting and Scheduling: Manage project budgets, schedules, resourcing, and reporting, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery.
  • Marketing Project Proposals: Create marketing project proposals that turn ideas into approved and actionable projects, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create SOPs for recurring activities that improve efficiency and reduce friction, ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Digital Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital asset management for marketing, ensuring easy access and retrieval of marketing materials.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in marketing tools and best practices within and between teams and suggest improvements, enhancing our marketing capabilities.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related program.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a professional marketing or agency environment.
  • Certifications: PMP completed or in-progress is considered an asset.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with MS-Projects is considered an asset, as well as familiarity with marketing automation including ActiveCampaign, Hootsuite.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), adept at engaging with stakeholders, including executive leadership to ensure alignment and drive project success.
  • Business Acumen: Experience in driving marketing projects that facilitate and increase Brand visibility and sales.
  • Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills: Highly motivated with strong work ethic & ability to collaborate and interact effectively across multiple departments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Tech savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel occasionally.
