About the Role
Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to implement changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process maps and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Provide training and coaching to employees on new processes and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- 3+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and labor management systems.
