Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 1974772 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering and facility use, and address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with overtime required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a permanent work term, 40 hours per week, and English as the primary language of communication.
