Senior Associate or Counsel Opportunity

HUM Law is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate or Counsel to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our employment law practice, you will provide expert legal advice to clients on various employment law matters, including litigation and strategy development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters to clients, including employers and employees
  • Develop and implement legal strategies for clients in employment law cases
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations to clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Manage files independently and efficiently, with minimal support
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in employment law, with a strong understanding of complex legal issues
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral, with French language skills an asset
  • Strong advocacy skills, including written and oral advocacy, with a focus on wrongful dismissal claims and human rights applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering quality work product efficiently
