We are seeking a highly skilled Category Buyer, CMO to join our team at Medisca. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for executing the purchasing category strategy for assigned products, providing support to all locations, and managing relationships with key suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze inventory and CMO operations to optimize inventory and maximize sales while minimizing costs.
- Develop, manage, and assess purchasing and inventory performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and data-driven insights.
- Source reliable suppliers and vendors that meet quality and compliance standards, and negotiate competitive pricing and contracts.
- Issue and maintain supplier policies, review existing contracts, and ensure on-going feasibility.
- Work closely with quality department for qualification and ensure product availability, delivery schedules, and resolve potential supplier shortages.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
- Three to five years of experience working in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and French (oral and written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to apply good judgment and ethical practice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
