About the Role:

We are seeking a Bilingual International Mobility and Immigration HR Specialist to enhance our HR team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational HR functions related to immigration, taxation, and international mobility benefits.
  • Provide guidance, coordination, and collaboration with vendors (tax, immigration, and mobility benefits), HR Business Partners, Payroll, Compensation, and Global Integration Experts.
  • Review and manage the accuracy of work produced by the off-shore HR team.
  • Collaborate with the off-shore team to optimize administrative processes across various tasks.
  • Engage with international HR Business Partners regarding all international assignments.
  • Coordinate with local and international vendors on new hire setups, policy exceptions, unresolved issues, process enhancements, and compliance with service level agreements.
  • Supervise and ensure the execution of HR administrative transactions with internal or external dedicated Shared Services Teams while handling complex or non-standard administrative processes.
  • Facilitate the transition of employee inquiries concerning HR policies and procedures to the off-shore HR team.
  • Maintain precise, current, and legally compliant records in HR systems for international personnel, including processing documentation for all changes throughout the employee lifecycle (e.g., hires, departures, transfers).
  • Assist employees relocating internationally from the initiation of mobility until their arrival in the new country.
  • Assess and validate critical documentation from vendors (immigration attorneys, relocation service providers, and tax consultants).

What You Bring to Our Team:

  • A minimum of 2 years of mixed HR administrative experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in immigration processes or working with international candidates is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional prioritization, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong work ethic, communication, and client service orientation.
  • Proactive, innovative mindset for improving existing processes.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to understand the broader context.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in English and French is essential, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both languages (spoken and written).

Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing, is necessary as collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States is frequent.
