Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including patients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including WSIB, MVA, and private clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Support return-to-work programs and provide education to patients on pacing, pain, and cognitive behavioral strategies
Requirements
  • Registration with Ontario's Provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Experience in assessing and treating adults with complex conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology
