Client Service Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Private Client Service Advisor to join our team in Prince George. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client relationships, providing proactive communication and support to ensure their needs are met.
- Create and process new business applications, including gathering underwriting criteria and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Process renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Communicate with clients to obtain renewal instructions and update information as necessary.
- Provide policy coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry.
- Address phone call inquiries and walk-in traffic accurately and efficiently.
- Promote and explain insurance products to clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all General insurance products.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
Requirements
- Level 1 general license with the intention of obtaining a Level 2 license.
- 1-2 years of related experience in the insurance industry.
- Experience with ICBC Autoplan is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently, as part of a team, and with others throughout the organization.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented.
- High attention to detail and precision.
- Able and willing to work under pressure when needed.
- Working knowledge of Epic preferred, but not required.
