About the Role:

The University of Toronto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Academic Support and Career Development unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and career development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curricular and co-curricular programs and activities to support student learning and career development.
  • Provide individualized coaching and advising to students on career development, job search strategies, and industry trends.
  • Identify and foster relationships with potential and existing employers to provide students with opportunities for work-integrated learning.
  • Facilitate educational workshops and seminars on career development, job search strategies, and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and deliver professional development opportunities for students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in career development, academic support, or a related field.
  • Experience working with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Experience in program planning, training development, or curriculum design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Knowledge of labour market trends, workplace standards, and recruiting practices.
  • Experience in coordinating projects with external partners.
