Student Learning and Development Coordinator

The University of Toronto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Academic Support and Career Development team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success and career development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation: Plan and implement components of curricular and co-curricular programs and activities to foster students' individual career development process.
- Employer Relations: Identify, foster, and maintain relationships with potential and existing employers to provide students with opportunities for work-integrated learning.
- Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate educational workshops and seminars to support students' career development and job search strategies.
- Student Advising: Advise and coach students on the selection of appropriate work-integrated learning opportunities and provide guidance on job search, industry research, and networking strategies.
- Evaluation and Reporting: Plan and oversee the implementation of an evaluation framework for programs and initiatives to measure their effectiveness and impact.
- Education: Master's Degree in Education, Counselling, or a related area, or an acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience providing direct support to students, new graduates, or individuals in the areas of career, skill development, and/or career transition.
- Skills and Qualifications: Experience working with a range of e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems, such as Quercus (Canvas). Strong project management skills, including the ability to stay on track of tasks while managing multiple projects and activities at the same time.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and access. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
