Operational Insights Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to act as a bridge between operational teams and technical experts, ensuring effective application usage and direction. This role involves developing and sustaining robust reporting frameworks while spearheading enhancements in business workflows to align with organizational goals. The focus of this position is to support end-user problem resolution, facilitate improvements, and troubleshoot issues, all while conducting business analysis to extract actionable insights from data.

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the organization, undertaking the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze and propose enhancements to business processes and workflows to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and manage detailed reports and dashboards that align with business objectives and improve decision-making capabilities.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data assets.
  • Oversee security and access management protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design, configure, and implement new systems or enhance existing ones.
  • Facilitate the rollout of new systems or upgrades, coordinating with end-users for seamless integration.
  • Provide comprehensive support to end-users regarding software functionalities, issues, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of business processes, financial metrics, and industry-specific standards.
  • Familiarity with system design methodologies, database management, and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on process and information quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying to facilitate data analysis.
