About the Position
We are seeking a Manager of Portfolio Analysts and Project Control Officers to enhance our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
The Portfolio Analysts and Project Control Officers focus on monitoring project budgets, enforcing PMO governance standards, assisting project managers, and engaging in financial assessments. The manager will guide the team and aid in establishing a robust control framework for both IT and Labs.
Primary Duties:
Develop, implement, and maintain an action plan for the team that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization and the IT/Labs division, emphasizing performance management, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. Foster management and communication practices that encourage effective governance, skill enhancement, employee engagement, talent retention, and diversity, in line with the company's core values.Specific Duties:
Mentor and assist Project Control Officers and Portfolio Analysts; establish and monitor personalized development plans. Optimize resource allocation to enhance synergy and improve workload distribution. Spearhead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive PCO framework. Oversee the enforcement of PMO governance standards as part of IT project execution. Ensure the effective application of standardized processes for the PCOs. Identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization across all areas of responsibility. Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and IT Finance teams to drive transformation, evaluate continuous improvement potential, and eliminate redundancies. Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners. Develop strategies to streamline project budget control processes for IT and Labs.You Are:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. A PMP certification is highly desirable. 5-10 years of experience in managing and supporting professionals. Familiarity with PMO governance standards. Strong modeling skills and the ability to discuss financial matters with non-financial colleagues. Adaptability to a dynamic environment. Influential capabilities. Strategic thinking and the ability to challenge conventional practices. Excellent communication skills. No prior Canadian work experience is necessary; however, eligibility to work in Canada is required.What We Offer:
