Bizi Transport is a leading service provider in the Logistics, Truck & Transport industry, based in Alberta. We specialize in bulk and liquid transportation, and we are committed to excellence, innovation, and growth.
Overview:
Bizi Transport is in the process of establishing a new location in London, Ontario, and is seeking a Business Development Manager with deep roots in SW, Ontario. The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of success in the local Truck & Transport sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
- Utilize existing networks and connections within SW, Ontario to broaden business outreach and identify new opportunities.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, particularly in the bulk and liquid transportation sectors, to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions for clients; consistently monitor and report on sales performance, adapting strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities; leverage market research to identify emerging trends and potential clients.
- Provide market insights and client feedback to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of direct experience in the SW, Ontario Logistics, Trucking, and Transport industry.
- A degree or diploma related to business development is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior operational experience is advantageous; former drivers, dispatchers, or logistics professionals transitioning into Business Development roles are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with a well-established network within the SW, Ontario bulk and liquid transportation sectors.
- Experience with Cryogenics (N2/C02), transporting Sulphur, or Chemicals is a plus.
- A growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and development, along with strong organizational and time-management skills. This role is demanding and offers incentives for success.
- Frequent travel is expected; a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
