About the Role

MeeT in Yaletown is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary personnel, to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, including responding to customer complaints and feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, including cooking, plating, and presentation. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
