Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tasty BBQ Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and analyze restaurant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Supervise and Manage Staff: Oversee the daily activities of staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Negotiate with Clients: Build and maintain relationships with clients, negotiating catering and event contracts to drive revenue growth.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans, promoting the restaurant and driving sales.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
