Position Summary

We are seeking a Claims Representative I specializing in Property FNOL (First Notice of Loss) to enhance our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate new claims through phone and in-person interactions with clients, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
  • Conduct interviews with the insured and witnesses to gather detailed accounts of incidents.
  • Evaluate claims to determine coverage eligibility based on policy specifications.
  • Analyze collected information to make informed decisions regarding liability and assess damages.
  • Resolve claims fairly and efficiently, ensuring validation of damages and processing of payments.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is required; prior Canadian work experience is not mandatory.
