Research Analyst Position

The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is a leading research institution harnessing the power of high-performance computing and novel technologies to integrate and analyze brain and mental health data.

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to provide research support to a Scientist at the Centre. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Virtual Reality (VR) development, with proficiency in creating VR applications using platforms such as Unity or Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support research projects using MATLAB and Python programming
  • Assist with data collection, logging, documentation, and analysis
  • Support literature reviews and research dissemination
  • Collaborate with research teams to integrate cognitive tasks with EEG or fNIRS mobile data acquisition

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • One year of research lab/project experience
  • Strong technical background in VR development
  • Proficiency in creating VR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Knowledge of EEG and fNIRS data collection methods and equipment
