Job Title: Biological Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biological Research Scientist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting research in immunology and neuroscience, supervising laboratory technical personnel, and contributing to the development of research papers and educational texts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in immunology and neuroscience, including experimental and quantitative research
  • Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals
  • Develop and implement research plans, including preparing funding and grant applications and proposals
  • Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance research goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the development of research papers, educational texts, and other publications
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field, such as immunology or neuroscience
  • 5+ years of experience in research, including laboratory research and supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
