About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our manufacturing plant in the Eastern Townships. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with our overall strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including production, sales and marketing, accounting, human resources, and labour relations;
  • Supervise business operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability;
  • Support and develop a team of highly motivated and qualified professionals;
  • Define short-, medium-, and long-term objectives in conjunction with our Regional Director of Operations;
  • Represent the company at conferences, business meetings, and other corporate events;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards;
  • Work with Senior Leadership to implement strategic initiatives.

Your Profile

  • University degree in engineering or business administration;
  • Minimum 10 years in the manufacturing sector and 5 years in a strategic management position;
  • Solid background in managing labour relations in a union environment;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to synthesize, strategic vision, and teamwork;
  • Influencing and inspiring staff and management.
