We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our manufacturing plant in the Eastern Townships. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with our company's overall strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations, including production, sales and marketing, accounting, human resources, and labour relations.
- Supervise business operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Support and develop a team of highly motivated and qualified professionals.
- Define short-, medium-, and long-term objectives in conjunction with our Regional Director of Operations.
- Represent the company at conferences, business meetings, and other corporate events.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Work with Senior Leadership to implement strategic initiatives.
- University degree in engineering or business administration.
- Minimum 10 years in the manufacturing sector and 5 years in a strategic management position.
- Solid background in managing labour relations in a union environment.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to synthesize, strategize, and work in a team.
