Job Title: Intermediate Data Warehouse Analyst

S.i. System's client is seeking an experienced Intermediate Data Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and test end-to-end data pipelines and data models. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and test end-to-end data pipelines and data models involving diverse systems/technologies.
  • Create or modify data pipelines to ingest and transform data into the Data Lake from source systems.
  • Analyze and identify impacts to any downstream data processes.
  • Unit test ETL code changes.
  • Support testing and QA of the data.
  • Prepare deployment plan for implementing changes to production.
  • Deploy changes to production and schedule ETL data processes to run periodically.
  • Support UAT.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of ETL implementation projects.
  • 5+ years' experience in Microsoft SSIS & SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with a range of Azure Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse, Power BI Report, and Crystal Report.
  • Hands-on experience with Spark (PySpark/Python) in Azure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data model design.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.

This is a hybrid model, looking for candidates open to coming to the office once every 2 weeks at their New Westminster office.
