Job Title: Registered Nurse
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients, adhering to established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
- Ensure Resident Safety: Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Manage Medications: Safely store, control, and administer medications, adhering to established protocols.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration and Certification: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
- Additional Requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, Medical Clearance (including TB tests), Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
