Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a Maternity focused position, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate patient care and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in the labour and delivery unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Current Level C CPR certification.
- Labour and Delivery / Recovery / Post Partum: Two (2) years recent related experience with a significant labour and delivery component, working in an acute care setting and / or recent completion of an Advanced Obstetrical Certificate and / or recent Midwifery Certificate.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Certification.
