Your Role at SECURE Energy
In the capacity of Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering and enhancing the growth of our business by pinpointing and assessing opportunities for customer-centric solutions that are economically viable. This position will be instrumental in identifying key business prospects for the Production Chemical division of Secure Energy Services.
This role is focused on supporting the areas surrounding Stettler, Hanna, and Consort in Alberta.
The Team
The Production Chemical team consists of dedicated professionals who excel in personalized sales interactions. The group is skilled in problem-solving and is deeply committed to customer satisfaction. Each member embodies a strong work ethic and a proactive approach, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client support.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position, serving the surrounding regions of Stettler, Hanna, and Consort in Alberta.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Formulating strategies to maximize account profitability while creating, executing, and managing an account plan aligned with the business objectives.
- Overseeing inventory levels, ordering, and delivering products to sites as necessary.
- Identifying potential business opportunities.
- Regularly evaluating customer service levels to ensure clients receive the highest quality of service.
- Engaging with customers and prospective clients to execute sales personally, developing and nurturing strong client relationships through consistent follow-up.
- Implementing programs to identify potential customers and effectively making cold sales calls.
- Proactively assessing current and future customer needs.
- Continuously acquiring new knowledge and developing innovative strategies.
- Providing weekly updates to sales, operations, and technical departments regarding customer activities, plans, and future business prospects.
- Utilizing basic laboratory equipment to test and qualify products for field applications.
- Engaging in community relations.
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School diploma or General Education Diploma; additional post-secondary education is an advantage.
- Experience in oilfield operations is beneficial.
- Previous experience in Chemical Sales is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to prepare technical reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivation and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Confidence, high motivation, and a professional demeanor with sound business acumen.
- Knowledge of production processes utilized in Canada is a plus.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities.
