About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2482883 Ontario Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Calculate and record depreciation of fixed assets.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Windows, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
