Human Resources Manager

GreenFirst Forest Products is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage the HR operations for our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with our business objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislations, and providing expertise in various HR disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain strong communications to keep the team and sites informed regarding HR priorities.
- Coach managers and supervisory teams in labour relations and the application of HR policies, programs, and processes.
- Provide support and leadership to the payroll department for effective functioning, coordination, and compliance.
- Direct the performance management, talent development, and succession planning processes to meet current and long-term needs.
- Provide expertise in workforce planning, job evaluation, attendance management, and accommodation.
- Keep up to date with HR trends and regulation changes, and act as Management Representation on various Joint-Committees.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations; or other relevant education.
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)/ Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a management position.
- Business acumen, sound judgement, strong analytical skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
