Job Title: Manager, Human Resources

GreenFirst Forest Products is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR operations for GFFP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislations and legal requirements.
  • Provide expertise and support in various HR disciplines, including performance management, recruitment, payroll, pension, benefits, labor relations, organizational development, and health & safety.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion practices for GFFP.
  • Promote and support the Health & Safety programs to increase employee awareness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations; or other relevant education.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)/Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a management position.
  • Business acumen, sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and discretion in all day-to-day practices.
  • Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
